Personal data:
Zdravko Yonchev was born in Plovdiv and he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia in 1959. He became a member of the Guild of Plovdiv Artists in 1972 and in 1976 he became a member of the Guild of Bulgarian Artists. In 1993 he was the founder and director of "Lukas" gallery in Old Town of Plovdiv.

Such are the paintings of Zdravko Yonchev, his heroes and thought, his women, tangibly visual and truly sliding over the stop of the reality, flooded by colour and colour-light, and hurrying again to these eternal philosophical pause.
