Personal data:
Stoyan Zavarinov was born in 1957 in the town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He graduated form the National Academy of Fine Arts in 1985 under the guidance of professor Velichko Minkov. Stoyan Zavarinov is a member of the Guild of Bulgarian Artists and the Society of Painters "Philipopolis". His materials are bronze, wood and stone. Currently he lives and works in Plovdiv.

Individual exhibitions:
1995 - Burgas, Bulgaria
1993 - Varna, Bulgaria
1990 - Padua, Italy
1989 - Leipzig, Germany
1987 - The Old Town of Plovdiv

General Exhibitions:
From 1985 through 2003 he participated in general exhibitions in Israel, Bulgaria, Monte Negro and Croatia.
His works belong to private collections in Paris, Leipzig, Athens, New York and Canada.

His plastics are torn off the real archetype. It exists with its own architectural - formal logic. Different parts and details evidence his sculpture's prototype - clean and dramatic.
