Personal data:
Sasho Savov was born on 9th of October, 1955 in the town of Harmanli, Bulgaria. Finished the Secondary School of Fine Arts in the town of Kazanluk in 1975. Ggaduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia, specialty - painting, in the classof professor Petur Mihailov in 1983. He lives and works in the town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Some works of his are in possession of: the State Art Gallery, Plovdiv, some private collectors in Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Finland, Germany, Greece and Austria.

Having started with a sad symbolic expressionism, Sasho Savov develops in his art the sophistication of gestures and thoughts, wandering in the solitary desert oases of the soul. The laconic expressive language of the components in the composition makes him both celebratory and deep.
