Personal data:
Lina Madjarova lives and works in Plovdiv. She graduated from high school of fine arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, specializing in sculpture.

She has worked in the field of monumental sculpture and plastic-spatial projects, especially during the communist regime in Bulgaria. She won numerous competitions and realized various creative projects in St. Petersburg, Sofia and Plovdiv.
Since 1989 she has been specializing in small format sculpture. Every sculpture is unique and cannot be replicated. The underling theme in her current works is the mythical personage, to which the author brings the sensitivity of the person of the 21st century and thus, through the plastic, it leads to a strong dialog with the observer. She had numerous exhibitions in Monaco, France and some of her sculptures already belong to private collections in France, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Sweden and Spain.

Spatial drawing - this definition can be used for L.M's art. Her forms spread and concentrate in the space portraying with that vibrating the limits of a romantic poetics.
