Personal data:
Nikolay Kuchkov was born on May 21st, 1948 in Mezdra , Bulgaria.
He has graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba with Professor Servando Cabrera. He has also graduated from Art Academy "St. St. Ciryl & Metodius" in Veliko Turnovo, specializing in monumental painting under Professor Vassil Stoyanov and Professor Nikola Gelov.

Appearances:

Nikolay Kuchkov has participated in many regional, national and representative exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad: the Netherlands, Poland. Greece, Germany, Hungary, Croatia and Russia.
His works are owned by the following: National Gallery of Art, Sofia City Gallery of art, National Gallery of Art, - Plovdiv and almost all regional art galleries around the country, private collections in Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Croatia, Russia and the USA.
He lives and works in Plovdiv.

Nikolai Kuchkov has run for at least hundreds of light years in the mixer of haziness and remembered how the first beams of creation swing as triangles and rhombs before they chose the more languid curves of spheres and spirals with which they lay down in eternity.
