Personal data:
Dan Grig was born on August 2nd, 1956 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Experience:
Painter-restorer from 1979 to 1981 in the Roman Amphitheater in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He also worked to restore the murals in the Bachkov monastery, the church "Uspenie Bogorodichno", "St. St. Constantine and Helena", - Plovdiv, house-museum "Stanislav Dospeski" - Pazardjik. He lived and worked for 6 years in Canada specializing in interior design. Currently, he is concentrating not only with painting, but with architecture and interior design of bars, restaurants and offices using fantasy finishes.

Some of Dan Grig's paintings already belong to private collections in Finland, Russia, Check republic, Canada, Germany, Switzerland and Bulgaria.

The artist, Dan Grig, dislikes boundaries, thus he is not tempted to cross the aesthetic boundaries. Even though, he has been called cultural extremists, he has a sensitive soul and galloping imagination. Dan Grig has said: "There is something oppressive about fighting for perfection when the whole world is fighting for survival?in the end, to be your best is a question of literacy?"
